Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She is director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching working and going to play rehearsals. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials as an infant. She received a Bachelor's of Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to advance, then after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she met at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors training. Silk told fans of the show the good information that she was pregnant on the set of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase at an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the premiere. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th 2013 that the show was coming back in production. The fourth season premiered on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures.
