Srushti Dehmukh began preparing for UPSC in the final stage of her engineer diploma. When she graduated she was unsure if she was able to be satisfied with her engineering job. In the end, she realized that civil engineering was her love and focused on it. Her parents insisted that she study for civils and make it a profession serving the public. Her motivation was constant and she focused only on becoming the IAS officer. It takes more effort to achieve UPSC. When she was preparing in her engineering courses and other classes, she also used to study for different subjects of UPSC. Each day she allocated some time for preparation. She got ready for engineering tests in only one and a half months. She stayed clear of social activities as well as social media altogether. She believes that focusing is crucial to pass the government examination and be a civil servant. She was very committed to passing the test, and she put in a good number of efforts. Daily, she would read the papers to stay on top of the latest news. Rajya Sabha TV and online study materials were also a huge help for her.
