| Anna Paquin is a New Zealand-Canadian film and TV actress known for her roles in films like The PianoFly Homeaway and X-Men.She started her film career when she was a young artist, as a child artist in The Pianofor which she won the Academy Award for the Best Actress in a supporting role at the age of 11. The actress had no intention of become an actress but fate decided otherwise. She declined many of the opportunities she was offered following her film's debut's success in order to concentrate on her studies. She was in 2000 as Rogue, an imposing mutant in X-Menthe initial X-Menfilms.This performance brought her international fame. Her role was reprised as Roguein sequels such as X2and X-Men The Last Stand.She also made brief appearances on screen, most notably in Elaine Goodalein in Bury My Heart at Wounded Kneefor which she received her first Emmynomination.
